Health and Welfare Plans
New qualifying employees will be eligible for coverage the 1st of the month following 60 days. The Company complies with all applicable federal and state laws with regard to benefits administration. All regular full time employees scheduled and generally working at least 30 hours a week are entitled to health insurance and other company-sponsored health benefits.
The Company makes available to its employees wellness programs as a preventive measure to help avoid sickness while improving and continuing to maintain their general health through programs such as smoking cessation, diabetes management, weight loss, stress management and preventative health screenings. The Company accomplishes this through education, communication and supportive work environment. Typical benefits include as well, immunization/flu shots, company-sponsored sports challenges and our “Fresh Fruit Fridays.”
401(k) Retirement Plan
The Company offers a 401(k) savings plan as part of their benefit package. Participation is open to employees who have attained age 21, completed 90 days of service as defined by the plan. Eligible employees may join the Plan on the earlier of the first day of the Plan year, or the first day of the fourth, seventh or tenth month of the Plan year. The Company will make safe harbor matching contributions of 100% of the first 3% of compensation you contribute to the Plan and 50% of the next 2% of compensation you contribute to the Plan.
